Network Analyst - Network Operations Center

About Working at Allied:

At Allied our Core Values are the foundation for how we choose to approach business. They are rooted in the vision of our founder who challenges us to be the best while maintaining exemplary business ethics and standards of personal responsibility. The words are simple: Integrity, Stewardship, Empowerment, CaNI (Constant and Never Ending Improvement), and Excellence. However the execution of our work, in alignment with our core values, is what ensures Allied is a company that continues to make a difference for our clients, employees and their families, and the communities that we serve.

Poised for a period of dramatic growth, Allied utilizes a range of technology and offers an environment for eager and motivated individuals to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. Our Support and Operations organizations are charged with not only looking at issues technically but also understanding the impact to the client, feeling their pain, and driving the issue to resolution. Communication is the keystone to any support organization, making sure that the client is cared for, keeping them informed during the lifecycle of any reported issue, and following up with them to ensure their services are working to their expectations.

About the Position:

Allied’s Network Operations Center is focused on providing an exceptional experience and world-class technical support to our clients. As a Network Analyst you will be challenged to rapidly resolve reported issues and work closely with both technical and non-technical clients via email and phone. As a trusted technology advisor you may often find yourself assisting clients with issues that extend into their LAN, beyond the average ISP’s point of demarcation. At Allied we pride ourselves on going the extra mile for our clients and assisting them in ways that an average ISP would not. Reported issues can range from the highly specific and reproducible to the vague and intermittent. This is where your troubleshooting skills become so important, taking a logical and methodical approach to reported issues and developing a plan to isolate and resolve the root cause. Allied utilizes a wide range of technologies to deliver service to our clients and you won’t be able to solve every issue every time.  There will be times when you will have to work with a Senior Analyst or an Engineer to drive an issue to resolution, but you will find that these are opportunities to learn from their experience and knowledge. Network Operations is a 24x7 environment and you will need to be able to support a flexible schedule as well as perform occasional on-call duties as required.

About You:

Network Operations can be a fast-paced and demanding organization to work in. We serve at the pleasure of our clients and our clients expect a high level of service with a personal touch. You will need to be comfortable and capable of working with technical, non-technical, easy-going, even demanding clients. If you love helping people, solving challenging problems, and learning in a face paced environment then Allied might just be the place for you

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide voice and data technical support to Allied customers.
