Summary:

Allied is seeking a professional, dynamic Account Executive who is responsible for driving new business for the company.  This role will focus on driving increased pipeline and closing new business opportunities. Prospecting using various mediums, while educating and positioning value for prospective clients, will be a major component of the role.  The successful Account Executive will consistently meet and exceed individual sales targets.  The ability to interact using a consultative sales approach is critical to this role. The ideal candidate enjoys working in fast-paced, engaging and collaborative environment and possesses a passion for success. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth for the company.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline, meeting and exceeding revenue targets and company goals, with the support of Allied’s Inside Sales team and other resources.
  • Prospect new accounts through a combination of phone, email, social media and face to face meetings.
  • Utilize SalesForce.com to track activity, collect and input data, and manage new business opportunities.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and other reports to management in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Deliver sales presentations using a consultative approach, leveraging the position of Allied and the products and services we offer.
  • Collaborate with sales engineering and support teams.
  • Stay abreast of competitive landscape and emerging technologies.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ Years business to business sales experience in the Telecom industry meeting and or exceeding quota.
  • Results driven, competitive natured with a solid work ethic.
  • Accountable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the astute ability to listen.
  • Outstanding time management skills with ability to multitask.
  • Ability to adapt to change, take direction, self-evaluate and self-correct.
  • Ability to consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Ability to create high value by understanding an assessment of prospect’s needs and requirements.
  • The ideal candidate will be both business and technology savvy and possess a proven track record of success in sales in the Telecommunications industry.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Personal means of transportation required.
  • Telecommunications experience required.
  • This is an inside/outside sales role.
